We are currently looking for a compassionate and reliable Parent’s Helper to assist busy parents or guardians with childcare and household management. As a Parent’s Helper, you will work alongside parents to provide support and ensure a well-balanced and harmonious family environment. Your responsibilities will include child supervision, engaging children in activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and running errands as needed.

Responsibilities:

– Assist parents or guardians with childcare duties, including supervision and engaging with children.

– Support daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and bedtime.

– Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and educational play.

– Aid with homework assignments and school-related tasks.

– Accompany children on outings, appointments, or extracurricular activities as directed by parents.

– Perform light housekeeping tasks, including tidying children’s areas, organizing toys and belongings, and light cleaning.

– Prepare meals or snacks for children following provided guidelines.

– Run errands such as grocery shopping or transportation as needed.

– Maintain open communication with parents about daily activities, concerns, and updates on children’s well-being.

– Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for children, promoting their emotional well-being and development.

– Adhere to parents’ instructions and guidelines regarding discipline, routines, and household rules.

Requirements:

  • * Demonstrated knowledge of age-appropriate child care practices and child development.
  • * Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with children and parents.

Tasks

  • Responsibilities:
  • * Assume full household responsibility in the absence of parents.
  • * Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • * Travel with the family and assist with child supervision and housekeeping during trips.
  • * Take care of washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens.
  • * Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
  • * Discipline children according to the parents’ preferred methods.
  • * Maintain records of daily activities and children’s health information.
  • * Ensure a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • * Organize and engage children in activities such as games and outings.
  • * Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • * Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
  • * Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants.
  • * Supervise and care for children’s well-being.
  • * Transport children to and from school and appointments.
  • * Attend to the emotional well-being of children.

Experience and Specialization:

– Experience in supervising and caring for a multi-aged group of children.
